Hanoi – the Vietnam trip – 1

I only spent two nights and one day in Hanoi. I can’t say I am overly fond of the cities in Vietnam. I did like Hoi An, though. So these are a few photos of the sightseeing I did in Hanoi.

Most importantly, know how to cross the road on foot. Next, be warned that many people are out to cheat you – so if catching local transport negotiate a price, and then write it down and confirm with the driver. And don’t expect blue skies in Hanoi – apparently they are rare.

For me, the fresh beer – Bia Hoi – was the best thing there. You can sit down, and chat with whomever is around.
