Every year G Hotel holds a Christmas function for the public, generously supplying finger food, drinks and entertainment. This year it was on Saturday evening.
This is their brochure for the Christmas season: http://www.ghotel.com.my/downloads/festive_christmas_2014.pdf
It starts with the Christmas tree lighting, after a very short address by the manager of the hotel.
Once the tree is lit, the staff start to move around providing refreshments. First was Gluhwein.
At the same time the IWA choir started to sing Christmas carols and songs.
Then sausage rolls, cheese sandwiches, Stollen, Christmas cake and fruit mince pies were offered around.
And Santa gave children presents.
After the Gluhwein, beer, wine, soft drinks and juice were offered for the duration of the event.
The crowd had thinned after the singing finished, but catering continued.
And then a band, singing Christmas songs, started up at the other end of the lobby.
Thanks to G Hotel for a lovely evening.
Next event I am aware of is the E & O Hotel Christmas tree lighting tonight, Monday December 1st, but by invitation.
